NATURAL BALANCE STUDIES SCULPTURES
Natural Balance Studies is a table top sculpture inspired by L&G Studio's desire to create harmony between opposing worlds; natural vs. manmade, static vs motion, light vs. heavy, industrial vs organic. This piece expresses a simple concept of physics through a curious exploration of materials, forms, gravity, and motion. A thin gestural arm extends from a found rock to balance another arm in rotational suspension - free to respond to applied forces natural or human. Each piece is a one of a kind expression grounded by the individual character of the rock base.
