NY Design Week MAY 15-19

We've yet to have fully unpacked since our big move to New York, but we are ready for the upcoming NY Design week!   L&G Studio will be launching new works, new collaborations, with new friends in new stores all around New York!

L&G SPECTACLE at Offsite
May 15-18

Join us at this year's NY Design week for the launch of new lighting and objects at Sight Unseen's Offsite show including limited edition items in collaboration with Avo, and John Hogan.  We are  excited to be exhibiting alongside John Hogan and Calico Wallpaper while collectively exploring the concept of visual illusion via material, light, pattern, and forms.  You won't want to miss this SPECTACLE show.  #offsiteSPECTACLE

L&G Studio Shape Up for Roll & Hill

We're elated to have our Shape Up lights just recently launched at Salone de Mobile in Milan and then again for NY Design Week at The Future Perfect Showroom and DDC! Come see the new R&H edition as well as other amazing lighting by Jason Miller, Karl Zahn, Paul Loebach, LIndsey Adelman.

The Shed at The Standard Hotel by Makers & Brothers

The Shed by Makers & Brothers travelled all the way from Ireland to host a fresh selection of design and craft favorites in the luscious garden The Standard (East Village).  Come pick up one of our mini chimes and enjoy the sounds of spring.

Outside the Box for Wanted

L&G Studio is part of the SEATTLE Outside of the Box curated by Darin Montgomery of Urbancase  for Wanted Design. We're honored to be part of the exhibit which represents a variety of materials and aesthetics employed by the Seattle design community under the common theme of food & entertainment.

New Happenings, New exhibits, and New York Times,

We're thrilled to share all these exciting news & happenings in addition to our BIG MOVE!  It's only been the first quarter this year, and already we've had so many exciting things happen as if there were some sort of cosmic forces that made all the stars align and everything have fallen into place beautifully.  The first couple months we did a little west coast tour with great companies like Urban Outfitters (Seattle), Heath Ceramics(San Francisco), and Poketo (Los Angeles).  We launched a new edition of our Ovis Chair with Avo at AD Home show.  Now this coming month, we'll be making our big move to NY as well as showing and attending Salone de Mobile expo in Milan! 

Here's what we're up to this month and in May! 

Roll & Hill Lighting / Milan

APRIL 14th - APRIL 19th

It's official!  L&G will be debuting a fresh revamp of our Shape Up lighting series, through Brooklyn-based Roll & Hill.   We are incredibly honored and thrilled to be in such great company not to mention to be in Milan for the launch at Euroluce during Salone De Mobile.

Wallpaper* Handmade / Milan

APRIL 14th - APRIL 24th

Each year, Wallpaper* hand picks select designers, makers and manufacturers to create one-off pieces to be exhibited in Milan during Salone de Mobile. L&G Studio is excited to be one of the chosen designers to collaborate with UK-based manufactures to create an exciting new piece under the theme of entertainment, which will be revealed on April 14th.

New York Design Week / OFFSITE

May 15 - May 18

Last year's Sight Unseen Offsite was amazing and this year only promises to be even better.  We are proud to be joining an amazing cast of design talent on display at a state-of-the-art photo & event studio just a block away from ICFF.  
We'll be exhibiting new lighting and sculptural  work collaboratively with west coast & east coast friends including Seattle-based glass artist/designer, John Hogan and Brooklyn's Calico Wallpaper.

L&G Studio in T Magazine

L&G studio was featured as one of the 6 new design talents of America in the recent style issue of T Magazine. Read about how we made up words like "Shapeism" in describing our design process of simplify objects to their basic forms and playing them like building blocks.  We're incredibily honored to be featured alongside with other new American talents like Moving Mountain, Calico Wallpaper, Matthew Sullivan,  Steven Halenbeek, and AQQ.
