ALTOSTRATUS
L&G introduces Altostratus - The Altostratus series celebrates the flow of energy through illumination of light and space. The collection’s sinuous layers of undulating textiles draws inspiration from sunlight filtered through cloud formations - embodying energy in motion. A cloud’s convergence of elements gives form to the formless energy in the sky. Similarly, a lamp not only gives form to light but also illuminates the possibilities within a space. Altostratus is a reflection on the potential flow of this energy.
The studio envisions the voluminous lamps as an immersive spatial embrace intended to stir curiosity, movement, and a moment of contemplation.
The Altostratus collection comes in 3 standard sizes and is made in collaboration with Kvadrat and Sahco textiles. Custom sizing is available upon request.
